Mark Silvera wrote a tangy analysis of the open source marketing movement:
As is almost de rigueur in articles on a mission to characterize the world as dramatically changing, Mr. Cherkoff opens with a rather sweeping statement. He claims that "Today’s consumer is unrecognizable from even just twenty years ago. More savvy, more skeptical, wealthier, better informed, less deferential and generally more in control." Is that so?
Read the balance of his analysis here. Read what we had to say about open source marketing here including Mr. Cherkoffs response. Cherkoff is my kind of guy. Although I disagree with his conclusions I admire his willingness to engage his critics with humor and logic. He has a roundup of criticism and praise for open source marketing here.
