Any entrepreneur who has been through both the wash and the rinse cycle of American capitalism will find the Chris Gardner bio "In Pursuit of Happyness" to be a powerful flick. And I do mean powerful – I was crying like a baby at the end. I’m tempted to get on my soapbox and start ranting about all the lessons one can learn from Chris Gardner’s life – but I won’t – just go watch the movie. OK, I can’t resist one rant – the next time a corporate puke at Google or Yahoo starts talking about being entrepreneurs – from the comfort of their 6-figure salaries, stock options, plush offices, unlimited resources, etc., etc., In Pursuit of Happyness provides a great reality check for what it means to be a real American entrepreneur (don’t get me started on immaculate conceptions and Silicon Valley VC’s…).
